About

Muscle Memory is a personal memoir about my previous life as a choreographer and dancer and the experience of creating and performing dances again in middle age. This is a documentary/dance hybrid about the power of memory and the intersection of what a mind remembers and what a body feels.

Many of us recall our past with mixed emotions - regret, nostalgia, sadness, joy - but what if we can pinpoint the exact moments that opened us up to all creative possibilities? Those moments that pushed us to a place of freedom, curiosity and discovery. Are those possibilities still available to us as we age?
I want to find out.
